North Riverside Drive in Fort Worth will be improved in two phases. Phase 1 (A) will widen North Riverside to a four-lane, divided roadway between North Tarrant Parkway and Old Denton Road. The project will also include building roundabouts at Thompson Road and Summerfields Boulevard, intersection improvements, sidewalks, streetlights, bicycle lanes and rehabilitation of existing lanes as appropriate.
Phase 2 (B) will widen North Riverside to a four-lane, divided roadway between Shiver Road and North Tarrant.
Timeline: fall 2019-summer 2021 (Phase 1), fall 2020-spring 2022 (Phase 2)
Cost: $13.95 million
Funding source: city of Fort Worth Bond Program Proposition 1
