The city of Keller recently completed improvements to the Chase Oaks Activity Node, which is located at 1609 Chase Oaks Drive.

Crews have added a new playground with a shade structure in a new location within the five-acre park, according to the city's weekly newsletter. The city also resurfaced the basketball court with markings for four square and hopscotch. The area also has new fabric on the existing shade structure and picnic tables, according to the newsletter.

The $122,351 cost for the improvements is funded through the Keller Development Corporation, which gets its revenue from a portion of sales taxes earmarked for parks and recreation projects, the newsletter stated.
