Here are five businesses and restaurants that are coming soon to Roanoke and Fort Worth.

1. A P.F. Chang’s location is coming soon to Alliance Town Center at 2949 Amador Drive in Fort Worth, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s database. Construction to build the restaurant began Aug. 16, 2021, and was set to finish up by Feb. 2, the database shows. According to Katie Erwin with P.F. Chang’s, the Alliance location is “tentatively scheduled to open by the end of the year.” The restaurant has over 300 locations worldwide and offers Asian-style fare, such as lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, dumplings and more. 2. A Planet Fitness location is coming to 1108 N. Hwy. 377 in Roanoke, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s database. The $1.7 million construction to build out the new workout facility is set to begin June 10 and finish by Sept. 16, the database shows. Planet Fitness offers two memberships for users, and both provide free fitness training, according to its website. The gym has over 2,000 locations throughout all 50 states, Canada, Australia and Latin America. A phone number for the Roanoke location is not yet available. www.planetfitness.com

3. A Velvet Taco is coming soon to northeast Fort Worth at 2828 N. Tarrant Parkway, according to a commercial grading permit filed with the city April 19. An opening date was not specified. Velvet Taco offers a variety of meat and vegetarian tacos as well as alcoholic beverages, desserts and side dishes. The taco restaurant has one existing location in Fort Worth at 2700 W. 4. A new MOD Pizza will be coming soon to Roanoke. The pizza chain is expected to be located at 1325 US 377. There is not a set opening date for the location, but construction is expected to be finished by Nov. 1, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The restaurant serves pizzas that can be customized in multiple ways, including picking a size, sauce, cheese and toppings. www.modpizza.com


5. Revival Fitness, also called RevFit, is opening a location in Alliance at 9763 North Freeway in Fort Worth sometime in the summer, according to a Facebook post by the company.
