A Planet Fitness location is coming to 1108 N. Hwy. 377 in Roanoke, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s database. The $1.7 million construction to build out the new workout facility is set to begin June 10 and finish by Sept. 16, the database shows. Planet Fitness offers two memberships for users, and both provide free fitness training, according to its website. The gym has over 2,000 locations throughout all 50 states, Canada, Australia and Latin America. A phone number for the Roanoke location is not yet available. www.planetfitness.com
