Amazon will open a new delivery station later this year in the Alliance area. The new facility will be east of I-35W at Litsey Road and Beach Street in Fort Worth. Fort Worth will get a second location farther south at Risinger and Old Burleson Road near Everman.

These two delivery stations are among six new Dallas-Fort Worth stations planned to open in 2021, according to an Amazon announcement. The other four will open in Arlington, McKinney, Mansfield and Balch Springs.

Amazon said these stations will help increase the efficiency of deliveries for customers. Hundreds of full- and part-time jobs starting at $15 per hour will be available and will include various benefits packages from day one. www.amazon.com
