A special election will be held Aug. 31 for the Keller City Council. Jessica Juarez previously held the Place 3 council seat but resigned in May for job reasons. In a news release, city officials said Keller’s City Charter requires an election to fill a vacant council seat within 120 days. Filing began May 28, said Rachel Reynolds, the city's communication and public engagement manager.
