Candidates in Keller, Roanoke and Northeast Fort Worth have one more week until election filing period closes

Candidate filing for the May 1 election is underway in Keller, Roanoke and Northeast Fort Worth. Filing opened Jan. 13 and closes Feb. 12. Several city and school board positions are up for grabs this year. A special election for an unexpired term for Roanoke Ward 3 has also been called. The filing period for the unexpired term ends March 1.

Early voting runs April 19-27. Election day is May 1.
