Senior Legacy Ball
The city of Fort Worth is hosting this Western-themed event for senior citizens and their guests. Included with the admission price is dinner, dancing, guest speakers and live entertainment.

This five-day event starts out with a parade April 9 featuring business owners, civic groups, Scout troops and more. From April 10-14, participants can attend the fair, which will feature approximately 15 rides, concessions and pageants. This event helps fund the nonprofit’s efforts, such as scholarships, food drives, disaster relief and more.

This two-day event will feature three speakers who will cover topics such as fortifying mind and body, as well as one's spiritual walk with the Lord. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the speakers as well as enter into a time of worship with the guest worship band.

Attendees are invited to dive into the world of teenage nostalgia and create a perfect prom night. Opportunities to enjoy the rooftop views, play games and take the perfect “prom pose” pictures will be available before the movie starts. The movie “10 Things I Hate About You” will be shown. After the movie, attendees can head to the lounge area for dancing. This event is for ages 18 and up.

Roanoke Public Library is hosting this fun and informative program on succulents. The hands-on event will allow participants to learn about planting and caring for these plants, including choosing the right pot and soil, planting techniques and basic succulent care. Plants, pots and soil are provided. RSVP by emailing [email protected]. This event is for ages 16 and up.

Keller Services Charities Golf Classic
This year, 100% of the net proceeds from this event will benefit Keller Community Senior Fund Inc. and North Texas Special Needs Assistance Partners. Both organizations do not receive government funding and operate on donations from the community and fundraising events.
