Two Brothers Winery will host a guided session where guests create their own air plant displays while enjoying Two Brothers wine. Air plants are a type of evergreen plants that grow in jungles, mountain tops and deserts and don’t need soil to survive. Guests can craft unique displays to spruce up their home decor. The Fort Worth Stockyards will host a paranormal activity tour through the Stockyards and the Cowtown Winery this fall. Tour guides will share ghost stories and a detailed history of the Stockyards, Bordello’s, the shootouts, the hangings and more. Some of the stops along the route will include The Cadillac Hotel, Miss Molly’s Inn Bed and Breakfast, and the Stockyards Hotel.Oct. 7: Pet Fest

Residents can settle into October by participating in the 26th annual Celebrate Roanoke festival. This year, the event will include a rodeo, live music, a drone light show, children’s activities, longhorn visits and photos, and more. Hwy30 Music Festival started as a fundraiser event for an Idaho town and has grown into an international annual four-day music festival known for its lineups. This year, the festival will be held at Texas Motor Speedway for the first time. Attendees can catch shows from over 30 artists, including headliners Dierks Bently, Zach Bryan, Cody Jinks, Koe Wetzel and more.Oct. 21: Art Worth Festival

Art lovers can attend the Art Worth Festival on the lawn of Will Rogers Memorial Center in celebration of the visual arts and classical music. The event will feature works of more than 80 artists and demonstrations of decorative arts disciplines, such as glassblowing, metal pouring, making pottery with wheels and wood turning. Food will be available as well as classical music performances by local ensembles.Oct. 26: Keller Classic Golf Tournament

The Keller ISD Education Foundation will host its second annual golf tournament at the Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club. Community residents and golf enthusiasts can spend a day on the course while helping raise money for Keller education needs.
