The show has been hosted at Hillwood’s Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport for the past 32 years and displayed planes such as the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
The 2022 show was held in October and was a sold-out event.
A news release issued on June 7 pointed out the growth in the Alliance area.
“Largely as a result of that growth and due to unavoidable conflicts in scheduling and logistics, Alliance Air Production will not host the AllianceTexas Aviation Expo in 2023,” the news release said.
Plans for future events—formally called the Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show—are being evaluated, according to the news release.
“We remain committed to the goals of bringing family entertainment to North Texas, supporting local communities, and opening doors to various career paths in aviation and aerospace,” the press release said.
