Tanger Outlets Fort Worth is inviting members of the community to celebrate Earth Day with a family-friendly bee workshop April 26.

According to a news release, the free event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
  • Enjoy honey tasting
  • Create bouquets, crafts and more
  • Participate in an informational workshop with a resident beekeeper
The news release states that Tanger Outlets Fort Worth partners with urban beekeeping company Alvéole to house over 15,000 bees in a rooftop hive as part of its ongoing effort to increase the greater bee population locally and around the globe.

Northwest ISD will partner with Tanger Outlets Fort Worth in its celebration of Earth Week with a community tree planting. The news release states planting trees is one of the steps Tanger Outlets is taking toward its sustainability goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
