Republican incumbent Nate Schatzline for State Rep. District 93 is still leading the race over Democratic challenger Perla Bojorquez with 44,093 votes, or 60.75% of the vote. Bojorquez currently has 28,483 votes.

District 93 State Rep. Nate Schatzline is leading over Democratic challenger Perla Bojorquez for the seat, according to Tarrant County early voting tabulations.

Schatzline, the incumbent, has 42,521 votes, or a little over 60% compared to Bojorquez's 27,465 votes, or a little over 29%.


District 93 covers parts of Tarrant County.

The details

Schatzline is a former pastor and the founder of For Liberty & Justice, a local church organization that advocates for government reforms. Schatzline’s campaign focuses on border security, as well as banning abortion and vaccine mandates. He has worked on several political campaigns, including Republican Beth Van Duyne’s 2020 campaign for Congress. He was endorsed by U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, Gov. Greg Abbott and Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.

Bojorquez's campaign focuses on funding public schools, increasing the minimum wage and abortion rights. Bojorquez is a former family law paralegal and educator who received endorsements from the statewide educators union, Texas AFT, environmental group Sierra Club and Mothers Against Greg Abbott.
