Schluter has 66.16% of the ballots cast with 2,293 votes. Opponent Amanda Smith trails with 33.84% with 1,173 votes.
Schluter is a civil engineer project manager and has served as a NISD board member for 27 years. Smith works in finance and has been involved in NISD as a PTA member and substitute teacher.
