Northwest ISD Place 6 incumbent Lillian Rauch is leading challenger Jennifer Zazula with 25,856 votes or 58.63%, while Zazula has 18,241 votes, according to the latest results.
In the Place 7 race, current vote totals have challenger Jennifer Murphy leading incumbent Ron Hastings. Murphy is leading with 23,780 votes, or 61.20%, while Hastings has a total of 15,074 votes.
These results include early vote totals, mail-in ballots and numbers from 126 of 193 Denton County precincts, 83 of 331 Tarrant County precincts and all Wise County precincts.
Ballots are currently still being counted. These results are updated as of 10:36 p.m. and are unofficial until they are canvassed and certified by the county clerk. Under Texas Election law, the clerk accepts and counts mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by Nov. 4, if they were sent from inside the U.S., or Nov. 9, if they were sent from outside the U.S.
