Updated at 10:49 p.m. This story has been updated to reflect the latest results from Denton County and Tarrant County elections.

Holly Gray-Moore, Roanoke City Council Ward 1 incumbent and mayor pro tem, has maintained her lead over challenger John Dolly with all early voting and mail-in ballot results available as well as results from 126 of 193 Denton County precincts and 83 of 331 Tarrant County precincts.

Gray-Moore is in the lead with 603 votes, or 74.54%, compared to 206 votes for Dolly.

Gray-Moore is running for re-election, she said, because of her desire to help shape the future of the city and to implement smart, comprehensive land-use planning.

Challenger Dolly’s policies focus on effectively managing the city’s rapid growth and easy traffic and pedestrian congestion.

Ballots are currently still being counted. These results are updated as of 10:49 p.m. and are unofficial until they are canvassed and certified by the county clerk.

Under Texas Election law, the clerk accepts and counts mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by Nov. 4, if they were sent from inside the U.S., or Nov. 9, if they were sent from outside the U.S.
