Keller ISD students returned to school Aug. 13 for the 2025-26 school year.

The details

Eagle Ridge Elementary school students were greeted by their peers wearing the colors of their respective "houses," or teams, before the bell rang at 7:55 a.m.

New Eagle Ridge students are sorted into a house during the first week of school. The houses are inspired by the character traits of the Wizard of Oz, according to the school website, and represent strength, courage, hope, compassion, respect and friendship.
