As the potential for inclement weather approaches with the winter season, Northwest ISD officials are reminding residents of the district’s procedures for possible school closings.

According to a district news release, one of the most important aspects of this process is that if no announcement is made, schools are operating on their regular schedules. However, if schools need to be closed, the district will communicate closures by 5 a.m. of that school day.
