Numerous family-friendly events are planned at various Northwest ISD campuses during the week of each homecoming game.

The details

According to a district news release, the list of events include:

Northwest High School
  • Homecoming parade: Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. The parade will begin in the east parking lot at Northwest High School and end at Northwest ISD Stadium. A community pep rally will take place after the parade, concluding with a fireworks show.
  • Homecoming game: Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at Northwest ISD stadium. The NHS homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime.
  • Homecoming dance: Sept. 14 from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the NHS student union
Eaton High School
  • Homecoming parade: Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. Starting on the Eaton campus, the parade will proceed through the Wellington neighborhood before returning to campus. A community pep rally will be held at EHS football field following the parade where the homecoming king and queen will be crowned.
  • Homecoming dance: Oct. 3 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Eaton High School
  • Homecoming game: Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. at Northwest ISD Stadium
Byron Nelson High School
  • Homecoming parade: Oct. 9 at 6:15 p.m. The parade will start and end on Bobcat Boulevard west of the BNHS campus and proceed through portions of the surrounding neighborhoods with a community pep rally to follow at the BNHS football field.
  • Homecoming game: Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at Northwest ISD Stadium. The BNHS homecoming king and queen will be crowned before the game.
  • Homecoming dance: Oct. 12 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at BNHS
