This year’s fair will be held at Worthington Middle School, located at 1045 Mascot Blvd., Fort Worth. Volunteers are also needed for the event.
The details
According to a Northwest ISD website, the Northwest ISD Education Foundation partners with the district, local businesses and organizations each year to support more than 1,500 students in-need across the district. They are able to receive the following items at the fair:
- Schools supplies
- Backpacks
- Community health information
- Other free resources
A district Facebook post states volunteers are needed to both set up the fair on Aug. 2 and to work at the fair on Aug. 3. Students can only volunteer on Aug. 2 for setup. Volunteers can sign up here.
A district website states that donations are being accepted and event sponsorships are also available.
