Keller ISD board members named Ramsey Branch, who has served the district since 2015, the new principal of Keller Middle School at their Feb. 29 meeting.

According to a district news release, Branch has been an assistant principal at Keller High School since 2018. Before that, Branch also served Keller High School as a science teacher. He began his teaching career in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2004.

“Branch's more than eight years of experience in the Keller High feeder pattern makes him well prepared for this role,” Assistant Superintendent Lindsay Moncrief said. “He is very thoughtful and approachable, and is a huge supporter of students and their involvement in extracurricular activities.”


"I am honored to be entrusted with this opportunity,” Branch said. “I look forward to building relationships with and serving the Keller Middle School community."

The news release states that Branch earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Louisiana State University Shreveport and a Master of Education in educational leadership from Northwestern State University.

He will begin his new role at Keller Middle School at the start of the 2024-25 school year.
