Keller ISD's career and technical education department will host student mock interviews March 6 and 7. Volunteers are needed from the business community to interview high school seniors and help them prepare for future career opportunities.

The details

According to a district news release, volunteers are asked to help for a three-hour period to conduct face-to-face interviews with six students. Interviews will be conducted at the Keller Center for Advanced Learning located at 201 Bursey Road in Keller.

A closer look

The news release states there will be a morning session from 8-11 a.m. and an afternoon session from noon-2:30 p.m. each day. Interviews include:
  • 20-minute interview
  • 10-minute review session with the student
Sample questions, student resumes and assessment tools will be provided. Volunteers are invited to sign up for one or multiple sessions, according to the news release.
