Due to construction in the immediate area, the Northwest ISD monthly mobile food pantry is changing locations. With this new address comes a second change: The pantry will be drive-thru only.

The details

According to a district news release, the pantry will move to the temporary administration building. This new location is next door to the previous location, which is now a construction zone.

What you need to know

The news release states that attendees should enter Texan Drive from FM 156, rather than using SH 114. Traffic will not be allowed to turn left from Texan Drive into the new food pantry location.

Attendees should remain in their vehicle at all times, and food pantry staff will assist in the loading process, according to the news release.

The Northwest ISD mobile food pantry is open on the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. or until food runs out, according to the news release. Three ways that families can qualify include:
  • Categorical eligibility
  • Income eligibility
  • Household crisis eligibility
