Out of the seven Keller ISD board of trustees positions, Place 6 and Place 7 will be up for election this May.

Charles Randklev is the board member for Place 6. Randklev serves as the president of the board. According to a district website, Randklev is in the third year of his first term on the board of trustees. He first took office in May 2021.

Heather Washington is the newest face on the board of trustees. She took office in January when former Place 7 board member Ruthie Keyes resigned.

A district news release has listed the following dates to remember with regard to the upcoming election:
  • Jan. 17: filing for place on the ballot opens
  • Feb. 16: deadline for filing for place on the ballot
  • April 4: deadline to register to vote
  • April 22-30: early voting
  • May 4: election day
According to the news release, state law requires a candidate for trustees of an independent school district to be a qualified voter by the time required. More information about those qualifications can be found here.
