The Northwest ISD board of trustees at a June 8 meeting named the newest principal of Beck Elementary School in Trophy Club.

Amanda Bunch will serve as principal beginning with the 2020-21 school year. Bunch has been the assistant principal at Beck Elementary since 2018 and previously worked at nearby Westlake Academy.

“I’m excited to continue the great traditions we have at Beck, and I look forward to continuing to partner with our families, teachers and students to meet and exceed each student’s achievement potentials,” Bunch said in a district announcement.

During her time at Beck Elementary, Bunch has been “an instrumental partner” in collaborating to develop and implement plans to help the campus meet its goals, the announcement said.

Through the House System, Bunch has helped “transform learning experiences” at the campus and develop a family-oriented culture for all students, it said.

“The most important aspect of any school is students learning, and I look forward to working with our teachers and staff to ensure all students have the tools and resources they need to be successful,” Bunch said.
