Northwest ISD’s board of trustees at its Aug. 12 meeting designated hazardous routes for students traveling to the district’s schools during the 2019-20 academic year.

The routes are designated if conditions might prevent students who live within a 2-mile radius of the school from traveling to the school safely. If students live along a hazardous route, they are eligible for bus services by the district.

Students who live more than 2 miles away from their schools are still eligible for busing.
