Hideaway Pizza has opened its third location in Texas.

What's happening?

The Oklahoma-based company opened in the Alliance area of Fort Worth mid-August following a week of training events to prepare the store to be open.

Hideaway Pizza serves appetizers such as fried mushrooms and garlic knots and also has salads, sandwiches, baked pastas and specialty pizzas. Customers can build their own pizzas with dozens of toppings to choose from.

The menu also includes desserts such as a chocolate chunk 'Sweetza' cookie, a caramel crunch 'Sweetza' cookie and frozen lemonade pie.

As an ode to the late founder, Richard Dermer, each Hideaway restaurant has kites adorning the walls and ceilings. He was a kite enthusiast who was the president of the American Kitefilers Association.

Other Texas locations are in Plano and McKinney, according to its website.
