A new ice cream shop is coming to the northeast Fort Worth area.

What's happening?

Bruster's Ice Cream is opening a location off Heritage Trace Parkway, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Construction on the new location will begin July 21 and is scheduled to finish by the end of 2025, according to TDLR.

The ice cream store sells ice cream by the scoop, pints, ice cream cakes, pies, sundaes, blasts and shakes, according to its website.

There are nearly 200 Bruster's locations worldwide. The only two shops in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are in Richardson and Plano, Bruster's website states.
