The company website states Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza was founded in Miami by Renato Viola. Born and raised in southern Italy, Viola began cooking at a young age and by age 11 was apprenticing under Italian chefs.
He moved to the U.S. under the O1 Visa category, which is reserved for those with extraordinary artistic ability or achievement.

The restaurant will be part of a new development called North City. According to developer documents, it’s one of the largest mixed-use developments in the southwest.
A part of the Alliance Corridor, major tenant anchors include Living Spaces, Carvana and Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.
