Construction on Te’Jun Texas Cajun restaurant was projected to begin June 1, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.

What it offers

The restaurant serves fresh Cajun cuisine in two other Texas locations, as well as a food trailer and food truck. Each location serves live crawfish as well as other supplies needed for a backyard boil, according to the website.

The backstory

Keller City Council on Sept. 5 approved a zoning change, specific use permit and a site plan for variances for the new Te’Jun restaurant.

In March, council approved a bid from Te’Jun, which is a proposed 6,697 square-foot two-story restaurant with a drive through, for the purchase of city-owned property, according to the council agenda.
