The drink spot first opened on April 12, 2019, and served 77 different cocktails, offering classics like the hurricane, Miami vice, blue Hawaiian and voodoo punch in addition to Jell-O shots. Cajun 2 Geaux also served food, which included wings and gumbo.
Increased food prices, labor shortages and increased operational costs due to the “challenges of the pandemic” all led to the decision, the post stated.
“To increase prices, as most businesses have, just didn’t seem right for us,” according to the post.
However, the post stated that if a new location for the drink spot works out, they will let the community know via their Facebook page. 817-504-1350. www.facebook.com/cajun2geauxdfw/?ref=page_internal
