Keller's new Braum's restaurant has served hundreds of customers during its opening day.

Though business started slow, Keller’s much-anticipated Braum’s store has since served hundreds of customers during its opening day.

The restaurant opened at 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 30. Braum's District Manager Trinnie Nguyen said the store saw few customers during the first hours after it opened. However, business picked up by 10 a.m., she said.

“It’s busier than we expected,” Nguyen added.

Business has been so busy Nguyen said she could only estimate the shop had served a few hundred customers by 2 p.m. July 30.

Customer Lindsey Lott stopped by Braum’s for lunch. The Keller resident said the store brings more variety to the city’s dining options.

“I’ve always come to Braum’s with my family growing up, and it’s exciting to have one close to where we work and live,” Lott said.

Braum’s offers burgers, chicken and salads in addition to an old-fashioned ice cream fountain. It also has a small grocery store and seating for up to 80 customers.

The restaurant is located at 1221 Keller Parkway, Keller, and is open from 6 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. daily. 817-562-5336. www.braums.com
