The city of Roanoke announced on July 19 that a new sports complex will be coming to town.

The Play It Forward Sports Complex will have 122 acres of sports field, dining and retail space, according to a city social media post.

The venue will offer top-notch training and playing opportunities for athletes, according to its website. There will be five baseball fields, three soccer fields and more than 1,000 parking spaces, according to the details listed on the company website.

The turf fields would be able to be used for baseball, softball, football, lacrosse and other sports.
