The city of Keller is hosting a date night event to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for the newly renovated Bates Street, according to Keller city government.

The renovations, which have been in the works since 2022, aimed to redesign the street to host festivals and events. The upgrades include a new park as well as 11 new benches that will serve as functional art pieces commissioned by the Keller Public Arts Board.

Other features include gateway entries on Bates Street; enhanced lighting; built-in food truck hookups for water and electricity; improved landscaping; and more.
