Officials with Tarrant County Public Health have confirmed 21 new cases of novel coronavirus in the county in the past 24 hours.

TCPH data indicates that 62% of positive COVID-19 cases in the county are individuals ages 45-64.

There are a total of 5,534 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Tarrant County, including 165 deaths and 2,324 patients who have recovered.

In addition, some 68% of Tarrant County deaths related to complications from novel coronavirus have been patients age 65 or older, according to TCPH.

At the county level, out of 5,141 total hospital beds, 3,158 are occupied. There are 140 hospital beds in the county currently occupied by COVID-19 patients, according to TCPH.


Additionally, there are 382 available ventilators in Tarrant County. A total of 182 ventilators are occupied.
