Nearly 2,500 voters weighed in on which one of three playground designs they wanted to see in The Parks at Town Center near The Keller Pointe.

During the month of June, Keller city staff sought input on a new playground design through an online poll. The effort was to replace the playground located near The Keller Pointe at 405 Rufe Snow Drive, according to a city Facebook post.

Voters had three options from which to choose. All three options were different in terms of configuration and types of equipment included. All options included shade structures.

According to the city’s Facebook page, option No. 3 pulled off a landslide victory, with just over 77% of the vote. Construction of the playground is expected to kick off later this year, according to the city.
