Mayor Scooter Gierisch swore in Clint Eustace as the city’s new assistant police chief during the council’s regular meeting Feb. 14.
“The city of Roanoke and the Roanoke Police Department are honored to have Clint Eustace promoted into our Assistant Police Chief position,” Roanoke City Manager Cody Petree said. “Clint has been a great source of knowledge, professionalism and team leadership. We look forward to his continued hard work and vision.”
According to a city press release, Eustace is a 26-year police veteran, serving nearly five of those years in Roanoke. He previously worked in Colleyville.
Eustace also has 20 years of experience as a SWAT team member with seven as a SWAT team supervisor. In his time with the Roanoke Police Department, Eustace has worked in roles as both a police captain and sergeant.
