Keller House Collective will soon feature a brewery on the first floor and a pizzeria on the second floor, according to a city news release.

The details

The establishment is set to open later this year and will offer craft beer, including low- and zero-alcohol beverages, and a menu that features hand-tossed, New Orleans-style pizza.

The news release states Keller City Council approved an economic incentive agreement with Keller House Collective at its March 4 meeting. As part of the agreement, City Council agreed to the following incentives:
  • Covering the cost of the business’s gas line and meter and reimbursing their building permit fees
  • Covering a portion of sales and personal property taxes over its first five years in operation
City staff anticipates a 100% return on investment for that estimated $72,632 incentive package by Keller House Collective's fourth year of business.

“We started talking to the city after we saw Bates Street completed; this neighborhood felt very inclusive and welcoming, and it just felt like a fit,” Co-owner Dhaval Patel said.

A closer look

Old Town Keller is in the midst of multiple city-based endeavors. Besides the Bates Street project, which includes a pedestrian crossing across US 377 and the development of Bates Street Park, the city is also making improvements to Elm Street.

Although an exact opening date is still unknown, Keller House Collective should be open in Keller in advance of the upcoming Elm Street renovations, according to the news release.

“We’re excited for the Elm Street project, and we’re looking forward to bringing some additional vibrancy into the area,” Patel said. “It’s not just about the city or one business investing—it takes a community effort to build something like the vision for Old Town.”
