The Learning Experience in north Fort Worth celebrated its fifth anniversary July 19.

The learning center provides infant daycare and early childhood education. The age-specific classes span six groups from six weeks old to age 6, according to the website. The school uses the L.E.A.P. curriculum, which stands for:
Language and literacy, which involve students building their vocabulary and developing early reading skills through interactive activities.
Enrichment and experience, which involve children engaging with music, art, science, technology, engineering, math and learning cultural awareness.
Academic foundation, which includes developing mathematical concepts, scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills.
Physical development and play, which strengthens motor skills through structured activities and free play.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary, the school hosted a birthday party with Dippin’ Dots ice cream, snow cones, face painting, a balloon artist, games and crafts for the families and community.
