Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd., an Israeli-based satellite networking technology, solutions and services company closed the acquisition of Stellar Blu Solutions LLC Jan. 7.

Based at Perot Field, Stellar Blu Solutions is a provider of next-generation SATCOM terminal solutions.

The details

While the acquisition included a payment of $98 million in cash at closing, a news release states the payment may increase by up to an additional $147 million in cash should Stellar Blu achieve certain operational and strategic business milestones in the first two years following the acquisition.

According to the news release, Gilat expects its annual revenues from Stellar Blu to range between $120 and $150 million in 2025.
