By opening a new warehouse in North Fort Worth, FST Logistics, a third-party logistics provider specializing in warehousing, transportation and distribution solutions, will enhance its network and better serve its customers across the U.S.

The details

According to a company news release, the temperature-controlled, full-service warehouse is 383,930 square feet near TexasAlliance and will help the company meet the following goals:
  • Significantly increase FST Logistics’ total storage capacity
  • Enable the company to provide faster, more efficient supply chain solutions to its growing customer base in the southern U.S. region
The news release states the location of the new warehouse in North Fort Worth, just north of Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport, has several geographic benefits, including:
  • Quick access to major highways and intermodal hubs
  • Being in a foreign trade zone, which allows companies to process goods without U.S. customs involvement
  • Nonstop flight access to 194 cities and a central location that provides easy access to major markets across the U.S.
