The General Motors distribution center on Freedom Drive in Roanoke received $2,253,254 for renovations that will begin Oct. 15, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The details

According to TDLR, the renovations on the 176,418-square-foot site will include additional truck storage and paving, striping and lighting, as well as an additional storm sewer connection.

The project is expected to take a year to complete.
