Mama's Pizza has opened its12th location in North Texas with its new Keller location.

The pizza chain serves East Coast-style pizza, wings, salads and sandwiches. Pizzas all use dough that is made fresh daily and baked in hot brick ovens, according to the website.

The backstory

Mama’s Pizza was founded in 1968 by Ed Stebbins on East Rosedale Street in Fort Worth. According to the website, Stebbins was a native of Connecticut and his mother was from Naples, Italy. He was a student at Texas Wesleyan University when he opened the pizzeria across the street from the university.
