Northeast Fort Worth residents have a new option for pizza near them.

Serving New York-style pizza and craft beer since 2007, Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse in North Fort Worth is the 13th location in Texas and the first in Tarrant County.

The details

General Manager Chris Borunda said that in addition to serving their signature New York-style pizza, the restaurant offers 72 taps of local and national brands of beers.

“We definitely try to partner with local brands as much as possible to get that community feel,” Borunda said.

This is the third Parry’s location in North Texas—the other two are in The Colony and McKinney—and while the prior tenant was also a restaurant, Borunda said that they tore it down to the studs before redesigning it as a pizzeria and taphouse.

"We are able to have a destination here with 17 TVs for sports and a patio,” Borunda said. “There’s not really any New York-style pizzerias around the area, so this is a prime location.”

The website states the restaurant serves wings, calzones, sandwiches, wraps, salads, pastas and kids’ meals. Beyond the 72 taps of draft beer, Parry’s offers wine and cocktails. But the main menu item is the pizza.

“New York-style pizza is a thinner crust which brings more of the flavor of the marinara and not so much of the bread,” Borunda said.

As far as pizza combinations go, Borunda said that they can do as many kinds of mixtures as possible, including a New York Mexican Yankee pizza, which is a nod to Tex-Mex flavors.

“We’re a culture of yes, so [customers] can really make it any way [they] want it,” Borunda said.
