Devivo Bros. Eatery, a restaurant that opened in 2013 in Keller, will soon expand into its neighboring space.

The details

The expansion, which owner Ralph Devivo said will make the restaurant more than double in size from 2,100 to 4,500 square feet, has been a long time coming.

“When my brother and I first picked the space in 2013, I thought it was too big,” Devivo said. “Four years later, we were looking to expand.”

Devivo said that they first started talking with their landlord to expand in 2020, but then the COVID-19 pandemic hit. He started back up negotiations with the landlord in 2022.

"The landlord made a deal with the neighboring business, The Floor Store of Keller, to move a few doors down in the building," Devivo said.

Once the move is done, then Devivo can begin his expansion, which he said should begin in about four or five months.

As part of a Feb. 7 post on the restaurant’s Facebook page, Devivo said: “You all have said for years 'you need to knock this wall down.' Well it’s finally here and we could not have done it without your love and support—so THANK YOU!”

A closer look

As part of the expansion, Devivo said that they will expand the menu to offer wood-fired pizzas and other items. He also said that the expansion will include a private dining room for private dining and events.
