Tanger Outlets, which owns and operates outlet and open-air retail shopping destinations across the U.S., has some changes happening in 2024 to its Fort Worth location.

The details

Tanger Fort Worth management shared four pieces of news about the development:
  • Lululemon—following a relocation—is now open in Suite 850, a 5,289 square-foot space next to Cole Haan.
  • Rocket Fizz Soda Pop and Candy Shop is set to open soon near the Lids and Hurley stores.
  • LOFT will be relocating to a new space next to Francesca’s following renovations later this spring.
  • Coach is also slated to begin construction on a new 6,000-square-foot space later this spring. The store's current location will remain open during construction in Suite 1050 next to LOFT.
The backstory

According to a company news release, Tanger Outlets Fort Worth opened on Oct. 27, 2017. The 352,000-square-foot development features more than 70 upscale outlet stores.

City of Fort Worth documents state that in 2016, the city entered into an economic development program agreement with Tanger Fort Worth LLC to provide Chapter 380 program grants for the development. Cities in Texas can use Chapter 380 grants for certain developments that result in the creation of new full-time jobs and positive economic growth.
