Dutch Bros Coffee will open a new location this year at 5789 Golden Triangle Blvd. in Fort Worth.

Breanna Bryan, a public relations specialist with Dutch Bros Coffee, said that the new location is expected to open in March 2024.

According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation website, the 950 square-foot store will feature a drive-thru and walk-up transaction areas.

The backstory


Dutch Bros Coffee started in 1992 when brothers D​​ane and Travis Boersma left the family dairy business to sell coffee drinks from a pushcart in Grants Pass, Oregon, according to the company’s website. As of Sept. 30, 2023, there are 794 locations across 16 states.

The company strives to make connections with the communities they serve through philanthropic programs. Dutch Luv Day, when $1 is donated from every drink sold to local organizations that fight food insecurity, occurs every year on Feb. 1. Drink One for Dane is held in honor of co-founder Dane Boersma, who died from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The campaign raises funds to help increase awareness, raise support and find a cure for ALS.

Dutch Bros Coffee serves coffee-based drinks with names such as Kicker, Annihilator and Double Torture. The menu also includes energy drinks, smoothies and muffin tops.
