The event featured several components, including:
- A special weekly advertisement that features exclusive savings Oct. 18-24, including 20 cents off per gallon at the store’s fuel center.
- Kroger presented a $1,000 donation to its food rescue partner, North Texas Community Table, in honor of the company’s Zero Hunger Zero Waste social and environmental impact plan.
- Charlie Lauersdorf, Fort Worth District 4 council member, gave remarks.
- Product samplings and giveaways were provided.
John Votava, Kroger Dallas corporate affairs director, said the store location underwent major renovations to the enhance decor aesthetics with a fresh look to complement the store’s array of fresh products.
Other enhancements include:
- Updates to the pharmacy and grocery aisles
- Floor polishing
- Parking lot restriping and more
“If you walk inside, you’re going to notice a whole new reset of our grocery shelving and our products on the shelves,” Votava said. “You’re also going to see a lot more natural and healthy selections as well that we added to our product selection. All the products that we have in our store are very fresh. We wanted the decor and everything to look and match that."
