The 10,046-square-foot location will be called Roanoke Neighborhood Shops and is expected to be delivered within four months at an estimated cost under $2 million, Slate Chief Culture Officer Kris Ramji said.
The development company has leases signed for three businesses that will be among the building’s first tenants, Ramji said.
Smoothie King
The smoothie franchise will be located at the shopping center’s end cap with a drive-thru, Ramji said. It will offer custom blended smoothies as well as acai and pitaya bowls using organic fruits and vegetables. The company also allows patrons to create options with its nutritional enhancers like whey protein and energy boosters.
Shotz Liquor Store and Smoke Shop
The liquor store operates in Lewisville, selling a full spectrum of wines, spirits, liquors and beers as well as tobacco products and e-cigarettes, according to its website.
Flipkick Swim Academy
The company specializes in personalized swimming instruction for people of all ages, according to the website. It offers programs for lifesaving water safety and swim skills, including infant and child survival swimming, and stroke development.
