Walmart is laying off more than 1,000 workers at an e-commerce fulfillment center in Fort Worth.

Company officials announced the “adjusted staffing levels” for the warehouse at 5300 Westport Parkway, between Roanoke and Keller. The warehouse opened in 2013 for online orders.

Employees can apply for open positions at Walmart stores, Sam’s Club or other company facilities, according to officials with the Bentonville, Arkansas-based company. The employees’ final day for work will be June 2.

“Everyone is getting 90 days paid leave to look for a job, and we hope they choose to stay at Walmart,” Walmart spokesperson Lauren Willis said.

Walmart officials announced other layoffs at facilities in Florida, Pennsylvania, California and New Jersey at the same time.
