Texas Health Harris Methodist Alliance is celebrating its 10-year anniversary in September.
The hospital at 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, opened in September 2012 with 50 physicians on the medical staff and now has more than 350 providers and staff. This fall, the hospital will debut its gastrointestinal laboratory suite that features 17,000 square feet of renovated space. Last year, Texas Health Alliance opened a $74 million three-story expansion of the main patient bed tower and a women's and infants center. It also provided more beds in the emergency department, according to a news release.
“From the beginning, we have been a hospital built by the community,” Texas Health Alliance President Clint Abernathy said in a statement. “We are neighbors and friends of the people we serve. Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of our neighbors today, tomorrow and into the future.”
The Texas Department of State Health Services designated Texas Health Alliance as a Level III trauma facility, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and a Level III maternal care center. 682-212-2000. www.texashealth.org
